In Celebration of Giving 2014

This very special event celebrated the impact of the New Century Campaign a year after its public launch, and your contribution to making a difference at UWA.

The evening was hosted by UWA Arts graduate and award-winning journalist, Andrea Burns, and attendees heard inspirational stories from speakers who have given to the Campaign and of those who have benefited from such generosity – people whose lives are richer for being part of the UWA community:

Cancer patient, Leonie Valentine, shared her inspirational journey.

Leonie’s surgeon, leading researcher, Winthrop Professor Christobel Saunders, outlined how your contributions are revolutionising breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.
